The purpose of this study is to bring to one’s Attention the Topic of the Jerusalem Covenant. This Jerusalem Covenant is not often spoken about, written about or highlighted. The Jerusalem Covenant was contrived by the then Deputy Chief Justice Rabbi, Menachem Elon. It is a ‘Renewal’ of the Biblical Pact between YHVH, the GOD of the Bible and the Jewish People, affirming that Jerusalem is Israel’s Eternal and United Capital. Essentially, that is what the Former U.S. President Donald Trump accomplished in 2017. That was the Year Jerusalem celebrated its 50 Year Anniversary since being Liberated from the Muslims in 1967.

Trump formally recognized Jerusalem as being Israel’s ‘Eternal Capital’. And he then ordered to move to the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem. Perhaps prophetically, the U.S. Embassy then opened with an Inauguration Ceremony, to the Day on May 14, 2018.
The Jerusalem Covenant was originally written to mark the 25th Anniversary of the City’s Reunification in 1992 (1967 + 25 Years), its Significance is greater than ever as the City of the King, the Messiah approaches what one surmises could be a 40-Year Countdown to when the King of Jerusalem Jesus returns to Confirm this particular Covenant among others given to Israel in the Old Testament, etc.

Jerusalem celebrated in 2017, it is the 50 Year Jubilee since Israel’s Victory in recapturing Old Jerusalem during the 6-Day War of 1967. It was precisely 1,897 Years from 70 AD that any Jews had Sovereignty over the Land, City or the Temple Mount. Since 1992, the Movement and Effort to sustain its Significance faded in the background of the Geo-Political Climate that was just too sensitive to keep at the Forefront of Negotiations between the various episodes of Peace Talks between the Jews and the Muslims, etc. According to Research, it was not until 2013, that an Israeli News Outlet and Advocacy Organization, now called Israel365 decided to take-up the Mantle.

Interestingly, the Israel365 News Agency is a Platform that seeks to strengthen the Biblical Ties between Jewish and Christian supporters of Israel. They feature numerous Articles that cross over into the New Testament Subject Matter. Although thoroughly Jewish in its composition, they do not shy away from Controversial or Forbidden Topics as to the Identity and Understanding of who Jesus is, etc. What Israel365 has provided is that they have sought to sustain the Momentum of the Jerusalem Covenant Movement around the World. What it provides is an Opportunity for those People that support Israel, based on their Biblical Principles in proclaiming that the Jewish People have an Ancient Biblical Right to Jerusalem.

Fulfillment Of Prophecy?
And by signing their Names to the Jerusalem Covenant online, that is how they can support Israel and to their Understanding, be part of the Biblical Fulfilment. And that is of the Redemption Process that Israel is currently undergoing. Israel365 then teamed-up with MK Member of the Knesset Yehudah Glick. He is 1 of the Passionate Advocates for Equal Right to Prayer on the Temple Mount.

He is a strong Jewish Believer in that Jerusalem is to be the ‘City of Peace’ for all Nations, etc. He is actively helping bring the Covenant to more People. And especially those in Power, such as Members of the British Parliament and the U.S. Congress. But what one finds very interesting, is that if one factors in a Biblical Time Period of a 40 Year Time Span to when the Jerusalem Covenant was initiated in 1992, then a particular End Year emerges, 2032. And?

Jerusalem Covenant Return of Jesus?
1992 --------------------------------- + 40 Years ------------------------------ 2032

Based on one’s Research over the Decades, one has come to be more convinced that the Year 2032 is the Year that possibly will see the Return of Jesus. This is predicated on Research where one has presented the case, albeit circumstantially, that the Year 32 AD was the Crucifixion Year of Jesus. And if that be the case, then applying the 1 Year = 1000 Year Prophetic Template would lead one to presume that 2000 Year from 32 AD would be then 2032, etc. There is then the Prophetess Anna 84 Year Code as well from 1948 that also corroborates with the Year 2032 as being the ‘Terminal Year’.

Perhaps, but it is just another possible ‘Witness’ of the Countdown to the Return of Jesus that based on one’s Fall 2025 to Fall 2032 Tribulation Timeline would be strengthened with. In Principle, the Jerusalem Covenant is not anything that YHVH has not already Stated and Promised in the Bible. The Psalms and the Prophets attest to the Language that is drawn from in the Jerusalem Covenant. And the Religious Jews are taking advantage of the mainly American Evangelical Support of Israel with that.

But in the meanwhile, MK Members of the Knesset like Yehudah Glick, who is a Temple Mount Rights Activist and Advocate are strengthening Jewish-Christian relations. He speaks at various Public Events, saying that he sees the victory of the 6-Day War recapturing Jerusalem as the fulfillment of Biblical Prophecy. One would agree. The following is the Wording that constitutes the Jerusalem Covenant. Emphasis added

We have gathered together in Zion, National Leaders and Heads of our Communities everywhere, to enter into a Covenant with Jerusalem, as was done by the Leaders of our Nation and all the People of Israel upon Israel's return to its Land from the Babylonian Exile; and the People and their Leaders will dwell in Jerusalem, the Holy City. Once again, 'Our Feet stand within your Gates, O Jerusalem - Jerusalem built as a City joined together' which 'Unites the People of Israel to one another', and 'Links Heavenly Jerusalem with Earthly Jerusalem.'

We have returned to the Place that the LORD vowed to bestow upon the Descendants of Abraham, Father of our Nation; to the City of David, King of Israel; where Solomon, Son of David, built a Holy Temple; a Capital City which became the Mother of all Israel; a Metropolis for Justice and Righteousness and for the Wisdom and Insights of the Ancient World; where a 2nd Temple was erected in the Days of Ezra and Nehemiah. In this City the Prophets of the LORD prophesied; in the City the Sages taught Torah; in this City the Sanhedrin convened in Session in its Stone Chamber.

'For there were the Seats of Justice, the Throne of the House of David', 'For out of Zion shall go forth Torah, and the Word of the LORD from Jerusalem. ‘Today, as of Old, we hold fast to the Truth of the Words of the Prophets of Israel, that all the inhabitants of the world shall enter within the Gates of Jerusalem: 'And it shall come to pass at the End of Days, the Mountain of the House of the LORD will be well established at the Peak of the Mountains and will tower above the Hills, and all the Nation shall stream towards it.' Each and every Nation will live in it by its own Faith: 'For all the Nation will go forward, each with its own Divine Name; we shall go in the Name of the LORD our GOD forever and ever’.

And in this Spirit the Knesset of the State of Israel has enacted a Law: The Places Holy to the Peoples of all Religions shall be protected from any Desecration and from any Restriction of Free Access to them. Jerusalem - Peace and Tranquility shall reign in the City: 'Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem; may those who Love you be tranquil. May there be Peace within your Walls, and Tranquility within your Palaces’. Out of Jerusalem, a Message of Peace went forth and shall yet go forth again to all the Inhabitants of the Earth: 'And they shall beat their Swords into Plowshares, and their Spears into Pruning-Hooks;

Nation will not lift up Sword against Nation, nor shall they learn War anymore’. Our Sages, Peace be upon them, said. In the future, The Holy One, the Blessed, will comfort Jerusalem only with Peace. From this Place, we once again take this Vow: ‘If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, may my Right Hand lose its strength; may my Tongue cleave to my Palate if I do not remember you, if I do not raise up Jerusalem at the very Height of my Rejoicing’.

And with all these Understandings, we enter into this Covenant and write: We shall Bind you to us forever; we shall Bind you to us with Faithfulness, with Righteousness and Justice, with Steadfast Love and Compassion. We Love You, O Jerusalem, with Eternal Love, with Unbounded Love, under Siege and when Liberated from the Yoke of Oppressors. We have been Martyred for you; we have Yearned for you, we have Clung to you. Our Faithfulness to you we shall bequeath to our Children after us. Forevermore our Home shall be within you.

Now to be fair, there are those People and many Christians that object to this Covenant. To them, it appears to verge on the Idolatrous by making a City and the Covenant a sort of Pseudo-God or Idol. In one’s Opinion and Assessment, it is a ‘Gray Area’ where one will leave it as to one’s Choice of Conscious’. It is no different than those Followers of Jesus who insist on keeping the Sabbath, observed for example.

One can sense in reading the Jerusalem Covenant how it is really supported by a lot of Rhetoric and Hyperbole. One can also sense the longing for the Messiah, that can only bring how they word it, ‘Peace and Security’. But it is towards the End that one sees how the Covenant, that is really what YHVH bound Himself to, is what is converted to a Vow of pledging one’s Vow to a literal City.

Now in Principle, one would agree with all that was stated in the Jerusalem Covenant. But one would have Reservation in pinning one’s Name to it. As a Believer and Follower of Jesus, the True Messiah that the Jews currently Reject as the Nation they seek to Reconstitute, one’s Vow is only to be towards the King of Jerusalem, not Jerusalem itself. In fact, the New Testament speaks in Language of how it describes the Bride of Christ as the New Jerusalem that is to come down from Heaven. And it will be the Dwelling Place where the King and the Bride will abide on Earth, forever.

So, the following has been one’s take on how one sees the Topic of the Jerusalem Covenant. As it could be just another possible Confirmation that strengthens one’s Fall 2025 to Fall 2032 Tribulation Timeline. It has to do when the Covenant was initiated and a 40-Year Countdown applied to it. It so happens that it was in 1992 that the Jerusalem Covenant Movement started. And by adding a 40 Year Countdown, that End Year is 2032. Coincidence? Perhaps but interesting in one’s Assessment.
