It is rather poignant that the U.S. State Department decided to make Public their Decision on behalf of the U.S. Administration to ‘Sanction’ the Israeli IDF Orthodox Brigade on Passover in 2024. Ever since Israel was declared an Independent State and recognized by the U.N., due to its 2-State Solution, the issue of the Orthodox Jews serving in the Military has been a ‘Thorn in the Side’ of Modern Israeli Society.

The Orthodox Jews are Exempt from Military Service if they elect to rather Study the Torah in the Yeshiva or Bible Schools. Most elect to do this as fulfilling their National Service, etc. However, the Secular Jews and others in the Society of Modern Day Israel object to such a ‘Preferred Treatment’. As it is, the Orthodox Jews are seen as those who do not Work, live off the Taxes of all other Jews, have large Families and do not ‘Fight’ for Israel as all other Jews, for the most Part.

There have been some Legislation attempts to force Conscript the Orthodox Jews into the IDF or the Israeli Defense Forces. To this aim, the Orthodox have resisted and often demonstrate, openly against such an Endeavor. Ironically, it is the Orthodox Jewry that have an issue, Theologically with the Modern ‘State of Israel’. Many Orthodox Sects do not even recognize Israel as being ‘Legitimate’. Why not? According to their Elders, it is only when the Messiah will come that Israel can be ‘Legitimate’. And that goes the same for the 3rd Temple, etc.

Why the USA has weighed in on the Decision to Sanction this particular Battalion and on Passover of 2024 sends a Clear Message. The USA is reported to spend nearly $4 Billion Dollars per Year in the Past, dedicated to the Training and Military Cooperation with the IDF. Presently, that Aid Amount is topping $26 Billion thanks to the Ukrainian Aid Package that the U.S. Congress passed in April of 2024. The Battalion is rather ‘Young’ in comparison to other Units since Modern Israel was created.

Presently, the Kfir Brigade, which means ‘Lion’ as in the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, consists of roughly 1000 Orthodox Men. These are purely Volunteer Conscripts that have decided to Serve Israel in its Military, etc. They originally were stationed, most appropriately, in Judea and Samaria, what is now called the ‘West Bank’. They had to be relocated to the Golan Heights due to an Elderly Palestinian Man suffering a Heart Attack under their Custody. Although no Specifics have been divulged to the Public about the Allegations of Human Rights Violations, the Decision communicated by the U.S. Department appears to be more Symbolic in nature.

Judah’s Lion
The following will be one’s Observation about its Ensign. When one read the Headlines of such a Sanction being placed on a Particular Unit of a Foreign Country by the USA, that seems Odd and Strange. But since the Narco Wars of Colombia, the Leahy Law, named after Senator Patrick Leahy, was adopted to prevent Human Rights Violations and not supporting or shipping Arms to known ‘Hit Squads’, for example in Latin America.

In researching the Emblem of the Judah Victory Brigade, one was struck by the Symbology that one will reference to the Leo Year Rapture Theory and at the Lion’s Gate. The Emblem of the Judah Victory Brigade is that of a Lion with Wings. It has a Sickle behind the Lion’s Head and a Spear facing upwards. One could not help but be impressed by the Motif of the Lion’s Gate in how the Leo New Year signals the End of the Wheat Harvest. This Date is specifically corresponding to a July 23 of a given Year.

And that is when the Lion’s Gate begins to Open. The Ancient Egyptians considered this Opening to Heaven as the Window when the Bodies of Mortals were Transformed into Immortality. The Emblem honors the Tribe of Judah and whose Motif is the Lion and is to lead the Way in War. It is also inferring to the Messiah. The 97th Netzah Yehuda Battalion (Hebrew: גדוד נצח יהודה, which translates to 'Judah's Victory Battalion', was previously known as Nahal Haredi (הנחל החרדי). It is a Battalion in the Kfir Brigade of the Israel Defense Forces IDF. The purpose of the Unit is to allow Haredi Jewish Men to serve as Combat Soldiers in the Israeli Military by creating an Atmosphere conducive to their Religious Convictions in the strict Observance of Halakha.

Since the Unit's creation, it has attracted many Members that would consider themselves to be Religious and Nationalists. Many come from the Jewish Settler Groups. One such Group that is often picked-out is called the Hilltop Youth. They are Young Jewish Settlers who have operated outside the Military Protocols of the IDF at Times. The Battalion has experienced cases involving harsh Criticism for its treatment of the Palestinians. In December 2022, the Unit was posted in the Golan Heights, etc.

Structure and Religious Accommodations
The Move provided a ‘Buffer’ where the Unit would be less exposed to Palestinians. The Battalion was founded in 1999, (25 Year Anniversary in 2024) and originally contained only 30 Orthodox or Heredi Soldiers. As of 2009, the Battalion had grown to over 1,000 Soldiers. Since then, it has reached the status of a fully functioning Battalion. The Battalion recently marked its 20th Draft. The Battalion runs like every Combat Unit in the IDF. Training in the Battalion is that of IDF infantry. There is 5 Months of Basic Training. It is then followed-Up by an additional 6 Months of Advanced Training.

Today, at any given Time, the Battalion has 2 full Companies in Training, 1 Company commencing Active Service, and 2 Operation Units: Palchod (Recon/ First Company) and Mesaiat (Rifleman Company). A 3rd Operational Unit, Mivtzayit, was created in October 2009. This was due to the large number of Soldiers joining the Battalion in the most recent Drafts. In the past, there was a small Special Forces Platoon (Machsar) composed of Soldiers from the Battalion. A Volunteer all-Haredi Computer Unit has also been created within the Israeli Air Force.

This, and the Netzah Yehuda Battalion are seen as Models for the possible Future Incorporation of Haredi conscripts into the IDF, should the present draft exemption for the Ultra-Orthodox Community be lifted. The Battalion's Motto is V'haya Machanecha Kadosh. This means, And Your [Military] Camp shall be Holy, (Devarim 23:15 = Deuteronomy 23:14), a Phrase taken from the Torah describing the importance of keeping a Jewish Military Camp Free of Sin or Ritually Unclean Objects, in exchange for Divine Assistance in Battle.

The Battalion places great emphasis on accommodating the Religious Needs of the Soldiers. The Netzah Yehuda follows the most Rigorous Standards of Jewish Dietary Laws. Also, the only Women permitted on these Bases are Wives of the Soldiers and Officers. There is no interaction with women allowed according to the Jewish Religious Law between Men and Women. As the Battalion runs on a Voluntary Basis and does not draft Soldiers, it is 1 of the few Units in the IDF which depends on a Recruitment Mechanism for New Troops.

It actively recruits Soldiers from the Ultra-Orthodox or Haredi, Religious Zionist or Dati Leumi, and the in-between Chardal Families. There are also many Volunteers from Overseas who enlist. The Battalion had its 1st Casualty on August 19, 2006, when a Member of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades shot and killed Staff Sergeant Roi Farjoun of Yehud at the Beka'ot Checkpoint, East of Nablus. A nearby Netzah Yehuda Soldier then opened fire and killed the Muslim Attacker.

As a result, the Battalion has been linked to a series of Abuses. In 2015 a combat soldier from Battalion was jailed for 9 months under aggravated circumstances. Until early December 2022, Netzah Yehuda was the only unit in the IDF which had been continuously stationed in the West Bank, initially in the Jordan Valley, and then the areas surrounding Jenin, Tulkarm, and Ramallah since the early 2000s, as all other Units are frequently rotated between different areas.

IDF Experience
In late November 2019, exactly 72 Years from November 29, 1947, the United Nations Partition Plan one was in Formation at an Israeli IDF Military Base just outside of Jerusalem. One participated in the IDF’s Sar-El Program where one volunteered to help Serve Israel, in Israel. It was, in one’s Personal Spiritual Journey, a Highlight and perhaps Prophetic, even to the Day as the Base Commander reminded the IDF Soldiers of the Historic Day when the U.N. essentially granted the 2-State Solution. But did the Palestinians, who were never called that, then accept this? No. They declared War.

The U.N. General Assembly voted 33 to 13, with 10 Abstentions and 1 Absent, in Favor of the Partition Plan. The United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine was the Proposal by the United Nations, which authorized a Partition of Mandatory Palestine at the End of the British Mandate. That Date was to be May 14, 1948. On November 29, 1947, the U.N. General Assembly adopted the Plan as Resolution 181.

The Resolution recommended the creation of Independent Arab and Jewish States. On November 29, 1947, the United Nations approved a plan to Partition the Country. A Day later, while Jews in Jerusalem, as in all parts of the Country, were still celebrating the Resolution that effectively established a Jewish State, the Arabs declared War against the New Jewish State. The War of Independence had begun. The British Mandate was to end by 1 August 1948 at the latest. Shortly afterwards, London announced that the Mandate would be terminated on 15 May 1948.

On Friday, May 14, 1948 at 4 PM – 8 Hours before the official End of the British Mandate – David Ben Gurion read out Israel’s Declaration of Independence at a moving Ceremony at the Tel Aviv Museum. This was on the Sabbath of the Feast of First Fruits of Grain, or Shavuot. On that same Day, the United States, under Harry S. Truman recognized the Provisional Jewish Government as the De Facto Authority of the Jewish State. Truman sent the following Telegram recognizing Israel, 11 Minutes (4:11 PM Jerusalem Time) after Ben-Gurion proclaimed the country's existence on May 14, 1948. Being 6 Hours Behind and at the 11th Minute (6-11 a Reversed 9-11) or 10:11 AM, Washington, D.C., Local Time, the Acknowledgement was read aloud.

‘Statement by the President.
This Government has been informed that a Jewish State has been proclaimed in Palestine...The United States recognizes the Provisional Government as the De Facto Authority of the New State of Israel’.

Then 3 Days later, the USSR also granted Israel De-Jure Recognition. As one can sense, there are too many Numerical Nuances that border or cross into the Biblical Inferences when it comes to Key References. If Jesus is like Israel and Israel is like Jesus, the 1st Born, then having Israel be ‘Born’ on a Numerical 9-11 Code would corroborate a September 11, -3 BC Birth-Day, (9-11). Note that Jesus rose from the Dead 3 Days later, and that was how long the USSR took to recognize Israel also.

Meaning of Numbers: The Number 59
The following is the Biblical Significance of the Number 59 from BibleStudy.com. The Number 59 is the Slot that Israel took to be admitted into the Family of Nations on Earth, exactly 1,949 Years since Jesus’ Birth-Day, presumed in -3 BC. Nearly 1 Year after its Creation, on May 11, 1949, Israel was admitted as the 59th Member of the United Nations. The possible meaning of the Number 59 is derived from both the writings in Scripture and the History behind some of its Events. Coincidence?

From September 11, -3 BC to May 14, AD 1948
= 1949 Years, 8 Months 3 Days

The Number 59 Echoes the History of the Kingdom of Israel that it once had and about its Restoration and Redemption. Consider the eerily inferences that one is convinced had occurred. The United Kingdom of Israel, in -930 B.C., split into 2 Pieces after the Death of Solomon. The biggest Piece was composed of 10 Israelite Tribes. The smaller Piece, the Kingdom of Judah, was composed of 2 Tribes plus the Priestly Tribe of Levi. The 1st Ruler of the newly formed kingdom was Solomon's Son Rehoboam. He Reigned from -930 to -913 BC and Died at the Age of 59.

Judah's King Jehoshaphat ruled from -872 to -848 BC. He was considered 1 of the Kingdom's better Monarchs. He made his Son Jehoram Co-Ruler in -853 BC. Jehoshaphat then lived only a few more Years until he Died at the Age of 59. Isaiah Chapter 59 reveals several Reasons why YHVH does not respond to Prayers when asking for His Help. It basically spells-out why Israel was judged.

‘Behold, the LORD'S Hand is not shortened that it cannot Save, nor is His Ear heavy that it cannot hear. But your Iniquities have come between you and your GOD, and your Sins have hid His Face from you, that He will not hear. For your Hands are Defiled with Blood, and your Fingers with Iniquity; your Lips have spoken Lies, your Tongue has muttered Perverseness. None calls for Justice, nor does anyone plead for Truth’. -Verses: 1-4

But the Number 59 also speaks of Mercy and Redemption. Psalm 59 was written by David when King Saul sent Men to watch his House in order to kill him. In 1Samuel 19:8 - 11, David pleads for YHVH's Protection then Praises his Abundant Mercy.

‘Deliver me from my Enemies, O my GOD; defend me from those who rise up against me. Deliver me from the Workers of Evil and save me from Bloody Men, for behold, they lie in wait for my Soul; the mighty are gathered against me’…

‘But I will Sing of Your Power; yea, I will Sing aloud of Your Mercy in the Morning; for You have been my Fortress and Refuge in the Day of my Trouble. To You, O my Strength, I will Sing; for God is my Fortress and the GOD who shows me Steadfast Love’. -Psalm 59:1 - 3, 16 - 17

The words ‘Redeem’ and ‘Redeeming’ together are written 59 Times in the King James Verses. In the Old Testament, the words were sometimes used to denote buying back Material Possessions that were forfeited. Many Times, however, the words are used in reference to Jesus' Sacrifice which makes it possible for Humans to be Redeemed.
