#A90: BOAZ AND RUTH RAPTURE

The following is a comparison, by Verse of the Book of Ruth, in how one posits that it is painting a possible Prophetic Picture of when the Rapture’s Timing is to occur. One will incorporate one’s True Pentecost New Wine Theory that asserts that Leviticus 23:15-6 is a Double Count. Meaning that the Acts 2 Event, is the True Pentecost that occurs in July, and not the Jewish Shavuot in June. Moreover, that the Acts 2 Pentecost coincides with the 2nd 50 Day First Fruit Feast, of the New Wine, etc.

One supposes that as this was the Day the Holy Spirit came down, it will go up with the Bride of Christ, i.e., the Rapture Event that will close-out the Church Age Commission, etc.  Obviously, one is presuming the Pattern and not the Details that may be seen or perceived entirely. One is thus conjecturing the Timeline as a Strong Suggestion, nonetheless. One will highlight the Key Verses in Chapters 3 and 4 and then provide a Day Count based on a July 22 to 23 Time-Frame. Why?

According to one’s Research: 1) In Ancient Times, the ‘Official End’ of the Summer Wheat Harvest corresponded to the Present Gregorian Calendar Day of July 22. 2) Also, July 22 was the Start of the Astrological Sign of Leo, in that it is when the Lion’s Gate opens. And? It was considered to be the Day of Resurrection where the Bodies went through the Gate into Heaven, etc. 3) Lastly, it has been calculated that the End of the Babylonian Captivity occurred on July 23, -538 BC. So, if one calibrates a July 22 End of the Summer Wheat Harvest Day into the Book of Ruth, what would that Timeline look like? Consider the following Timeline.

JULY 22: ~9PM

Ruth 3:2
In fact, Tonight he is winnowing Barley on the Threshing Floor.

Ruth 3:3

Therefore wash yourself, put on Perfume, and wear your Best Clothes. Go down to the Threshing Floor, but do not let the man know you are there until he has finished eating and drinking.

JULY 22: APPROACHING MIDNIGHT HOUR

Ruth 3:7

After Boaz had finished eating and drinking and was in Good Spirits, he went to lie down at the end of the Heap of Grain [Wheat: Strong’s H6194]. Then Ruth went in secretly, uncovered his Feet, and lay down.

JULY 23: MIDNIGHT HOUR

Note that the Jewish Day started back at Sunset on July 22 and did not end until Sunset July 23. Meaning that the Wedding on July 23 occurred before Sunset of that Day.

Ruth 3:8

At Midnight, Boaz was startled, turned over, and there lying at his Feet was a Woman!

Ruth 3:13

Stay here Tonight, and in the Morning, if he wants to redeem you, good. Let him redeem you. But if he does not want to redeem you, as surely as the LORD lives, I will. Now lie here until Morning.”

JULY 23: FROM MIDNIGHT HOUR TO 6AM

Note that 6am was the 1st Watch of the Day, based on 3 Hour Segments of Time.

Ruth 3:14

So, she lay down at his Feet until Morning, but she got up before anyone else could recognize her. Then Boaz said, ‘Do not let it be known that a Woman came to the Threshing Floor’.

JULY 23: 6AM

Ruth 3: 15

And he told her, ‘Bring the Shawl you are wearing and hold it out’. When she did so, he shoveled 6 Measures of Barley into her Shawl. Then he went into the city.
 

Note: A Measure is considered a 1 Quart. (5.5 Liters or 1.5 U.S. Gallons.) One correlates this as an Echo to the Wedding of Cana in how there and then, there were 6 Water Purification Vessels that were empty. Here, Boaz filled them with the Barley that was already winnowed.

The Wheat had just barely been harvested and heaped on the Floor to be threshed next. It is a Prophetic Marker of how Jesus is the Barely as He rose from the Dead on the First Fruits of the Barley. Essentially, it is only Jesus Himself that can fill the Desire of the Bride, and fill that proverbial ‘Whole’ in one’s Heart, etc.

JULY 23: 8-9AM

Ruth 3:18

‘Wait, my Daughter’, said Naomi, ‘until you find out how things go, for he will not rest unless he has resolved the Matter Today’.

JULY 23: 6AM-9AM

Ruth 4:2
Then Boaz took 10 of the Elders of the City [Bethlehem] and said, ‘Sit here’, and they did so.

Ruth 4:10

‘Moreover, I have acquired Ruth the Moabitess, Mahlon’s Widow, as my Wife, to raise up the Name of the Deceased through his Inheritance, so that his Name will not disappear from among his Brothers or from the Gate of his Home. You are Witnesses Today’.
 

Jesus, the Greater Boaz went to Calvary to die so that Eve’s Descendants would not remain in the state of Death due to Eve’s being deceived and Adam being disobedient, etc. But that through the Resurrection of Jesus, Humanity can and will live on in Jesus. 

JULY 23: 12PM NOON TO SUNSET

Ruth 4:13

So Boaz took Ruth, and she became his Wife. And when he had Relations with her, the LORD enabled her to conceive, and she gave birth to a Son.

Granted, there is no specified Time from when Boaz came back from the Meeting with the Elder in Bethlehem to when he married Ruth. Nonetheless, given the Timeline and Sequence of Events, one is strongly convinced that the Wedding took place that very Afternoon, on the 23rd of July, when one calibrates the End of the Wheat Harvest. Thus, the Question one possets, is will it occur in a similar Fashion for the Rapture’s Timing, given this Correspondence to the Acts 2 True Pentecost New Wine Event?
 

Consider all the Times Jesus alluded to the End of the Age as Harvest, and in particular, that to a Wheat Harvest. And then how in James, the Bride of Christ is likened also to being a First Fruit Offering. Thus, one conjectures that when the Church Age ends, it will coincide with an End of a Wheat Harvest and, coincide with a First Fruit Festival. The only Conjunction of such a Dichotomy is the Acts 2 True Pentecost New Wine Theory where the ‘Wheat meets the Wine’, etc.

‘No,’ he said, ‘if you pull the Weeds now, you might uproot the Wheat with them. Let both grow together until the Harvest.
 

James 1:18

Of his own will begat he us with the Word of Truth, that we should be a Kind of First Fruits of His Creatures.
 

End of the Church Age and its Commission
Soon after the Elders granted the Redemption of Naomi’s Property and Lineage to Boaz, there would have been enough Time to have Boaz’s Estate and Servants prepare for the Wedding that same Afternoon of July 23. So that by Nightfall, Boaz would have taken Ruth into his Wedding Chamber for those 7 Days of the Honeymoon. And the Rest is History. So, if Prophecy is Pattern, one is just surmising how this Typology of Boaz and Ruth’s Wedding Day, precisely occurred on the Last Day of the Summer Wheat Harvest that was celebrated with the Drinking of the New Wine. 

Since the Wheat Harvest was in full-swing, ‘Drinking’ Wine was not available in the 1st Place and was not to be consumed while the Workers and Boaz needed to be attentive and alert in brining-in the Wheat Harvest. It was only after the entire Wheat was Harvested and brought to the Threshing Floor that Boaz did then make Merry by Eating and Drinking of the Wine that was barely New at that Time. Evidence?

Lastly, consider the following further Observations. As noted, one surmises that Boaz was celebrating the End of the Wheat Harvest in that he was Drinking the New Wine. He was guarding the Threshing Floor against Robbers. Notice that the Barley was already winnowed and prepared as he gave Ruth the 6 Measures of Barley. Yet, Boaz slept next to the Heaps of Grain that were next to be winnowed and processed, being bundled in Sheaves. 

Notice that Ruth was instructed to put on her Best Dress and follow Directions. This is indicative, prophetically of how the Bride ‘Has made herself Ready’. Obviously, this is predicated on what the Greater Boaz, Jesus has given to the Bride as Provisions to do so. And that when the Bride is presented to Jesus, it is because she has prepared herself and is ready, clean, etc. It is the Gospel’s Prerogative in having Humanity, like a Ruth needing to now come to Jesus, bow down at Jesus’ Feet and ask for Redemption. 

Then, notice how Boaz told Ruth not to tell anyone of her ‘Midnight Proposal’. This, in one’s Interpretation is indicative of how when the Rapture Event occurs, no one in the World will have suspected it, caught off-guard, i.e., the Secret Rapture. But it is recorded to show that Ruth went to the Threshing Floor, ‘In Secret’. Notice that Boaz instructed Ruth to stay at the Threshing Floor for the Night and that in the Morning.

Redeemed from the Curse of the Law 

Boaz would then settle the matter of her Redemption that very Day, on the July 23 Timeline. Also note how Naomi instructed Ruth, that Morning when Boaz headed into Town, Bethlehem to meet with the Elders. The Instruction to Ruth, as the Bride in Waiting was to Wait. Jesus has instructed His Bride to Wait also. It has been nearly 2000 Years, or rather 2 Days? Or how about 2 Hours, relatively speaking.

It is rather interesting that Boaz took 10 Elders to settle the Matter of redeeming this Gentile Bride. In the Bible, the Numerical Significance of 10 is that of the Law Requirement, i.e., Sinai Covenant. It goes to show that Jesus, the Greater Boaz has redeemed the Gentile Bride from the Curse of the Law. For it is by Grace and Favor that one has been grafted into the Promises of Israel, like Ruth, Rahab, etc. 

So, one is conjecturing that after the Legal Matter of Naomi and Ruth’s Redemption, as a Prophetic Typology of Jesus redeeming both Israel and the Gentiles, Boaz married Ruth that very same Day. And that Day corresponded to July 23, the Day after the ‘Official’ End of the Summer Wheat Harvest, and its correlation to the Feast of New Wine. It is an Echo of the Wedding at Cana. As an aside Note, about the New Wine Date. This is why one is not in agreement with some beloved Brethren that assert the New Wine was/is on the 9th of Av.
 

No Bride or Groom of Israel would marry on the worst Day of Calamity of the Nation in which the 2 Prior Temples were Destroyed. It is a Day of Lamentations, Fasting and Mourning. No Joyous Weddings are performed on that Day. It does not make Prophetic Sense to associate the most Joyous and Magical Day for Jesus and His Bride to get married on that Day. And also to point-out that by the beginning of an August or the Month Av, the New Wine is no longer ‘New’.

Nonetheless, this has been one’s attempt to peg the Love Story of Boaz and Ruth with a specific July 22-23 Date and a Timeline corresponding to the Modern Division of the Verses of the Book and Chapters, to Jesus and His Bride. Perhaps if this Boaz and Ruth Typology is corresponding to the Acts 2 True Pentecost New Wine Theory, then the Rapture could occur on this precise Day, just as much.

The Day GOD the Holy Spirit descended to empower the Church Body is how and when, perhaps the Rapture will occur. As the Holy Spirit is now indwelling the Body of Christ collectively and in every Believer and Follower of Jesus, it will ascend at the Rapture that will close-out the Church Age and its Commission. It will be that like Ruth, as the Bride, she has made herself ready in ‘Clean Clothes’ to meet Boaz at the Time and Place where the Wheat Sheaves have been all brought in.
