#A120: RAPTURE TYPOLOGY SEEN IN GIDEON AND THE 300

Here are some thoughts about another end of the Wheat Harvest meeting with the beginning of the New Wine harvest Rapture Typology and Timing that one sees in the story of Gideon. What? Really? Is the Rapture Typology seen in what occurred with Gideon and the 300 Chosen? Yes. It has to do with the Earthen Vessels that concealed the Blazing Torches, etc. To this end, one will be highlighting the following factors of this Old Testament account that one will argue contains the Rapture Typology and perhaps even its timing.
 

1. The timing of the event was when Gideon was threshing the Wheat in Israel.
 

2. Oddly enough, because of Fear, Gideon was threshing the Wheat in the Wine Press.
 

3. Gideon was commissioned along with the 300 to battle against the Enemy.
 

4. The Weapons of their Warfare were Earthen Jars and the Torches of Light carried inside.
 

If this incident is a Prophetic Typology of the Rapture Event as one is convinced, does that then lead to having it occur around this same time-frame? Thus, is the Rapture Event to occur when the Wheat Harvest concludes and the New Wine Harvest begins? So, what came to mind for context is the prophetic typology of the Days of Noah and Lot. They are considered to be reasonable Rapture types. And? Well, there was and is that element of the Restrainer occurring. The notion of the Restrainer comes from the following Scripture.  

And you know what is now restraining him, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work, but the one who now restrains it will continue until he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of His mouth and annihilate by the majesty of His arrival. -2 Thessalonians 2:6-8.

So long as Noah kept building the Ark, that was the ‘Restrainer’ in his day. For Lot, so long as Lot and his family hesitated to flee Sodom as instructed by the Angel, that was the Retaining. Regardless of what one may think the Restrainer is, it is keeping the world from falling entirely into the hands of the Luciferians. It is one’s interpretation that the Restrainer is the Holy Spirit in general. But specifically, it is the Believers and Followers of Jesus, as those Earthen Vessels, i.e., still having Mortal Bodies.

However, such are indwelt by the Holy Spirit like those Blazing Torch hidden within. This is the Body of Christ on Earth presently. It is the Church Age Dispensation that is curtailing the Evil of the Satanists that are Hell-Bound in stealing every Human Soul and making everyone a Slave to Satan. But it will not be until the Rapture Reset that once the Bride of Christ is removed from Planet Earth as the Restraining  Force, the AntiChrist will only then be revealed. Now as to Gideon and the 300? It is like the Movie ‘300’ that came out in 2006.
 

The film, like its source material, is a fictionalized retelling of the Battle of Thermopylae ‘Gates of Hell’ in the Greco-Persian Wars. The plot revolves around King Leonidas, the ‘Lion-King’. He is the one who leads 300 Spartans into battle against the Persian ‘God-King’ Xerxes. This battle was fought against the invading Persian Army of more than 300,000 soldiers. Likewise, as with Gideon then Jesus now has his collective ‘300’ Soldiers that are fighting at the Gates of Hell. The Mission or Commission is to make war and invade it. This is the real meaning of when Jesus stated the following. 

Jesus replied, ‘Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by My Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the Gates of Hades will not prevail against it. I will give you the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on Earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on Earth will be loosed in Heaven’. -Matthew 16:17-19 

And as with Gideon, all YHVH asked them to do was to stand and shout the Victory. This is also the Spiritual Principle behind putting on the whole Armor of GOD. Once having done all that, the war is in Prayer as that is where the Victories and Promises of Christ are proclaimed, etc. Not only were the 12 Disciples to be such Men who war against the Gates of Hell to demolish them, but here is an actual example of how that precisely occurred in the Days of Gideon.
 

Gideon in the Old Testament was chosen by YHVH to lead the Israelites against the Midianites. It was during the end of the Wheat Harvest that he was called and commissioned. At the time, Israel was vastly outnumbered and subjugated. After some tests, eventually with only 300 men selected based on how they drank water, Gideon used a surprise attack against the Midianites as instructed by YHVH. They surrounded the Midianite Camp and just stood there. The 300 of YHVH came against the Enemy Camp, and with all in unison, a Shout and Trumpet blast went forth.
 

They then broke the Earthen Vessels. It exposed the Light, the Torch that blazed from the inside. This is what caused the confusion in the Camp. It must have been a sight to see. YHVH used the Trumpet blasts and Torches to create confusion. It led to a victory for Israel. Consider the typology and Rapture symbolism and even the timing, perhaps. Panic sat in and the Midianites scattered as they attacked each other, etc. This is a befitting Rapture typology in that the collective ‘300’ of Jesus., the Bride of Christ that have been battling and fighting at Lucifer’s Gates will 1 day have their mortal bodies be ‘shattered’ to reveal the Inner-Glory that is the Indwelling of GOD the Holy Spirit. And that Rapture Reset will occur with a Shout of an Arch-Angel and with the Trump of GOD.

The Glory to be revealed

There will then be chaos and panic that will sit in the world because of it and will kill each other during the Tribulation Period, etc. Now as to the timing of the Rapture? Well, if the story of Gideon and the 300 are any indication of when? It took place when Wheat met the Wine. What was odd is how Gideon was threshing the Wheat, but in the Wine Press, where the New Wine was to be processed next. This was done so that the Midianites would not detect the Israelites doing this as Food was used as a Weapon of War. Starvation was and is still a Tool that is used to control and subjugate people, etc. 

Then the Angel of the LORD came and sat down under the oak in Ophrah that belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, where his son Gideon was threshing Wheat in a Winepress to hide it from the Midianites’. -Judges 6:11

So, here is just another connection of how the Wheat meets the Wine and in one’s inference has that direct connection that is seen all over the Old Testament. As to the Rapture’s Timing that could be implied because of Earthen Vessels and the Torches incident of the 300? Perhaps.
 

‘I saw something else under the Sun: The Race is not to the Swift, nor the Battle to the Strong; neither is the Bread to the Wise, nor the Wealth to the Intelligent, nor the Favor to the Skillful. For Time and Chance happen to all. -Ecclesiastes 9:11
