#A135: TRIBULATION PSALM 27

The following is a study about Psalm 27 and how it could be a possible Prophetic Pattern of the coming 7-Year Tribulation Period. Consider how the entire Psalm of David has 14 verses all together. What if one divided them in half and made it a corresponding Chiastic Fold? The 1st 7 verses could be corresponding to a year then, with the Chiastic inference to match the details, perhaps. This supposition is based on how one’s current Tribulation Timeline is based on a Fall 2025 to a Fall 2032 time-frame.
 

One of the main reasons for considering this verse in the Psalms is that it is one’s Life Verse. When one got saved back on April 9 1980, a Teacher in the 8th Grade introduced one to Jesus. The discussion revolved around one’s questions about life, the meaning of life and what was one’s purpose in the vast Universe, etc. The Teacher was a Christian and in those days in the USA, Teachers could openly discuss their Faith. He even had a Bible in his desk that was in the classroom. One would meet with the Teacher during the Lunch Hour and discuss the offer that Jesus made to Humanity.
 

The daily meetings occurred in the Woodshop where the Great Carpenter, Jesus was slowly but surely fashioning one to become a Believer and Follower of Jesus. By the time that Passover came in April of 1980, one was ready to make a lifelong commitment to follow Jesus. The Teacher led one in the Sinner’s Prayer and one was Saved. One’s Spirit was redeemed. One’s Soul was now to begin working-out its Salvation. And lastly, 1 day, one’s Body would be glorified, i.e., the Rapture Event.
 

One continued meeting with the Teacher as the sessions became a Discipleship. He gave me my 1st Bible. Naturally, one read the last book, Revelation and then Daniel in the Old  Testament. For some reason, the Holy Spirit led me to those 2 books. Perhaps because one was so young, 13 years old and perhaps as old as Daniel was when he was taken captive to Babylon. And perhaps like the end of John’s life, now old and also held captive in the Isle of Patmos. These 2 Men would define one’s life. And in reading the Promises of both Daniel and John, one realized the blueprint that was to become one’s Spiritual Journey of Faith. And that was quantified in Psalm 27. 

It is because as one publicly professed Jesus, all that King David said in Psalm 27 came true in one’s Life. Thus, it became one’s Life Verse. So, that is why this study in Psalm 27, being a possible Prophetic Pattern of the coming Tribulation Period for Israel and the Jews is pertinent in that it is tied also to the end of the Church Age. And that is where one has been waiting for the Glorification of the Body, i.e., the Rapture. Has the year arrived? Will it be in 2025 based on Psalm 27?
 

A Chiastic Correspondence
This year calculation is pegged to the 1948 rebirth of Modern Israel and the 77th Year that it has achieved in 2025. And? The year 2025 is the time marker that has 7 Years remaining until Israel reaches its 84th Year Anniversary in 2032. One’s Theory is that this year concludes a dual timeline of the end of the Church Age and the Redemption of Israel. It is that the 7 Years remaining to reach 2000 Years from 32 AD is calculated that it was and is from the Crucifixion Year of Jesus.         
 

This would mean that the 7 remaining years of the Church Age will be completed in Heaven above as the 7 remaining years of Daniel’s 70th Week will be completed on Earth below. Now specific to the 7 verse Tribulation Period with reference to Psalm 27? Consider how it begins and then have in mind what the Tribulation Period is all about. It is when YHVH will finally deal with Israel’s Unbelief. In reading the 1st 7 verses, place yourself in the mind of a Jew that will go through the 7 Years of Jacob’s Trouble. It will not be the Trouble of the Church, etc.

4 One thing  I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the House of the LORD all the Days of my Life, to gaze on the Beauty of the LORD and to seek Him in His Temple.

6 Then my Head will be exalted above the Enemies who surround me; at His Sacred Tent I will sacrifice with Shouts of Joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD.

13 I remain confident of this: I will see the Goodness of the LORD in the Land of the Living.

14 Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.

VERSE 1
Notice how in this verse, it starts out with how it is YHVH that is the true Salvation or ‘Jesus’ of Israel. It is not the false Covenant that will be confirmed instead by Israel in seeking Salvation in anything but Jesus. And the corresponding Chiastic reply is from verse 8. It stipulates how YHVH seems to beckon Israel to Seek YHVH and His Face alone, etc.
 

VERSE 2
Then this verse insinuates that the world will be against Israel. And this has been the Satanic Situation now on Planet Earth. Nearly every Nation is against Israel and shout ‘Free Palestine’, etc.
 

VERSE 3
This verse speaks of how then the Armies of the world, especially the Muslim ones will attempt to besiege Jerusalem. This could very well be the timing of the Gog-Magog War of Ezekiel. This will be the 1st Time since the end of the Old Testament that YHVH will call Israel ‘His People’. This flies contrary to those critics of Modern Israel that erroneously believe that the Jews that live in Israel are not the Jews of the Bible, etc.
 

VERSE 4
Then the climax of the Psalm is seen in how the desire of King David is to dwell in the House of YHVH and gaze at His Beauty. If one’s Theory based on the Verse-to-Year correlation is plausible, then this is the year 2029 and the midpoint of the 7 Year Tribulation Period. And? This is when the inverse happens in that it will be Lucifer by way of his Proxy AntiChrist that will enter the 3rd Temple to be gazed upon by the world. It is at this point in time that the mandated Mark, Number or Name will be required as an act of worship towards Lucifer by way of the AntiChrist that ‘ought not to be there’. 

VERSE 5
Then consider how in this verse, it is when the Remnant of the Believing Jews that remain will then flee to Petra for protection. It will be as a Hiding Place, the Shelter of His Sacred Tent that will cover them and shield them from the reach of the Red Dragon as portrayed in Revelation 12. This will be what one calls the Exodus 2.0 in how YHVH will protect Israel as He did in the Wilderness Journey.
 

VERSE 6
This verse proclaims the Victory in Jesus as how it is explained in the Book of Revelation that the key to all those that overcame Lucifer, his AntiChrist and the False Prophet is by keeping the Testimony of Jesus. And in that, there is reason for celebration even though it will cost most of the Believers and Followers of Jesus their heads during the Tribulation Period. This is why the Chiastic correspondence is verse 13 in how such are holding on to the confidence that there is a Resurrection to occur.
 

VERSE 7
This verse concludes the 1st half of Psalm 27. It is a supplication from King David to YHVH that GOD may hear his prayer and heart’s desire. The Key also to the Victory and Answer to a Supplication before the Throne of YHVH is that one must have ‘Godly Patience’. In GOD’s timing, His will has preeminence and will be accomplished in one’s life.

The concept of having a Psalm-to-Year correspondence is not new. According to the late J. R. Church, ‘Hidden Prophecy’ can be found in some of the Psalms. Dr. David Reagan of Lion and Lamb Ministries also concurs with this notion and has written articles about it. So, is there ‘something’ to this Psalm 27 corresponding to a possible Prophetic Pattern that insinuates the 7 Years of the Tribulation Period? Will the 77th Year or Modern Israel be the corresponding year in which the last 7 Year of the Church Age coincide with the last 7 Years of Daniel’s 70th Week? Perhaps.
